Guy West, President & CEO, and Lori Koebel, Director of Communications & Sustainability, spoke to Adriana Zhang about ABCRC’s role as the collection system agent for beverage manufacturers since 1995, as well as the deposit system, sustainability and Alberta’s high beverage container return rates – one of the highest in North America! In 2021 alone, ABCRC processed a record 2.1 billion beverage containers, diverting 90,502,320 kilograms away from Alberta’s landfills.
